We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:


Position EGPX-CH Scottish FIR Chief
Description Roles & Responsibilities:

FIR chiefs are the local representatives of the AOC. They will be the
"specialist" of a given FIR. They are also "policemen", making sure the ATC standards are upheld.
FIR chiefs report to the AOC and are responsible for:
- Enforcing the standards set forth in the SOPs, and all local procedures,
monitoring all controllers within their FIR.
- Establishing LOAs in co-ordination with the AOC.
- Mentoring new controllers when requested by the Training staff.
- Echoing and enforcing real-world NOTAMs for their respective FIRs
- Assisting the AOC in setting the Facility ratings of the FIR
- Assisting the AOC in maintaining the airport database
- Assisting the AOC in maintaining the FIR sector file(s)
- Updating/maintaining FIR Webpages.

Position requires a minimum APC ATC rating although ACC is prefered.

Position GB-AOAC ATC Operations Assistant Coordinator
Description Roles & Responsibilities:

Assisting the AOC in:

- Setting the facility ratings of the division in conjunction with other departments
- Supervising and delegating tasks to the FIR chiefs.
- Creating and maintaining Sectorfiles in conjunction with FIR Chiefs
- Approving and publishing LOAs in conjunction with FIR Chiefs
- Publishing and maintaining airport procedure pages in conjunction with FIR Chiefs
- Compiling SOPs for ATC positions
- Setting ATC training/exam standards in conjunction with the Training Department
- Maintaining the airport database
- Publishing and maintaining airport quickviews
- Creating AFCAD files for major airports in conjunction with the Flight Operations Department

Position requires a minimum ADC ATC rating, although APC+ is preferred.

Position GB-SOC Special Operations Coordinator
Description Roles & Responsibilities:

- Creating military SOPs
- Creating and maintaining military Sectorfiles in conjunction with ATC Operations & FIR Chiefs
- Publishing and maintaining military pilot/atc quickviews
- Organising at least 4 special operations events over the course of the year in conjunction with the HQ SO Department and the UK Events Department
- Creating Special Operations division tour and assisting with validation
- Setting the military facility ratings of the division in conjunction with other departments
- Approving and publishing military LOAs in conjunction with ATC Operations & FIR Chiefs

Position requires a minimum ADC & PP rating.
