Scottish TMA Overload - 2012-02-11

We are pleased to bring you the next in the line of our Overload events. For this event we are heading North up to Scotland for the Scottish TMA Overload on 11th February 2012 between 14 and 22z.

We will be offering ATC services at the 2 main Scottish airports, Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are lots of real world flights into these airports, particularly by British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair and Jet2. We hope to make these airports very busy.

ATC shifts will be slightly different for this event. Instead of the usual one set of controllers covering the event duration, because it is set for 8 hours this will be split into 4 different shifts, each shift will last for 2 hours. When requesting positions, please post which airfield or position you wish to control and the time duration. The shifts available are;

14-16z
16-18z
18-20z
20-22z

Other ATC
Whilst we will be staffing Edinburgh and Glasgow, we would also like to ask for any other controllers who don't get a position to take up positions on other Scottish or other UK airports if they wish to do so. If any controllers plan on opening any of the other Scottish airports, please let us know and we will advertise your presence.
