Scottish AC - East Sector

Description

East Sector is responsible for the Northeastern part of the Manchester TMA and low-level airspace over Northeast England. It is a relatively large sector and can become busy due to interaction of North-South and East-West routes South of Pole Hill VOR.

Coordination

Manchester (EGCC)

Manchester departures to the north and east will be transferred directly from Manchester Tower to East Sector.

East Sector is responsible for the Manchester ROSUN stack.

Leeds Bradford (EGNM)

Leeds Bradford departures will normally be allocated FL40 if routing via Pole Hill, and FL50 if routing via NELSA and FL70 if routing towards the east.

Inbounds from the north / west will normally be co-ordinated at FL60. Inbounds are to be routed to the LBA.

Leeds Bradford inbounds from the east are subject to a standing agreement at FL70.
