Description
London Terminal Control, abbreviated to TC, provides an area service in and around the London TMA. The airspace is divided into 5 sectors.
The sectors are designed to manage traffic arriving and departing from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, City as well as Birmingham, East Midlands and smaller airfields in the region.
All sectors are low-level, from the base of controlled airspace to FL195–215. London TC will only deal with overflights operating at or below FL210, regardless of whether another unit is online or not.

Bandboxing
The South East Departures sector is the first sector to be opened. Further sectors may not be opened unless S10 or S20 is staffed.
Designated sectors should be opened in the following order: SE DEPS then NW DEPS then NE DEPS then SW DEPS.

Delegation may be altered by mutual agreement between controllers.
Aerodromes
London TC is responsible for providing an appropriate approach and aerodrome service at the aerodromes listed below:

| NE DEPS: | EGSS, EGGW |
| SW DEPS: | EGKK, EGHI |
Traffic for all other aerodromes outside controlled airspace will only be provided with a Basic or Traffic Service workload permitting and should be released for take-off, landing and when within 3nm of the airfield.
Traffic exceptions
When London AC is offline the following alterations to transfers are in place:
- Outbounds via KONAN/VABIK may be offered to Brussels ACC overhead DVR
- Outbounds via SITET/XAMAB/XIDIL may be offered to Paris ACC abeam WAFFU
- TMA inbounds from Paris will be offered at the FIR border
- TMA inbounds from Brussels / Amsterdam will be offered abeam REFSO
